Musicians of various nationalities, cultures and backgrounds who are all equally devoted, passionate, and particularly true to the authenticity of their art will be participating.

Moroccan, Jewish-Spanish, flamenco and Middle Eastern music find their common roots in the voice of the great young diva of Moroccan, Judeo-Arab origin – Lala Tamar.
Reclaiming her North-African heritage with an attitude, LALA Tamar is pop music’s new Eastern muse. Touring international stages from Morocco to Portugal, India to Holland and many more.

For this specific occasion Lala Tamar will be accompanied by musicians from Serbia.

Fiddler on the Roof

The famous musical Violinist on the Roof is back in Belgrade. Story about love, dramatic farewells and dramatic misunderstandings, that all take place in the whirlwind of a bad historical moment. With characters who, with their optimism, persist in their unwavering faith in the future. This funny and emotional story is presented to us by impressive cast of actors/singers and orchestra “Shira Utfila”.

The New Original Klezmer Ensemble

(Italy)

The instrumental-vocal ensemble consisting of five musicians was founded in 1993 by Davide Casali. They participated in all the important Klezmer music festivals in Italy, signed music for several films and released numerous albums.

The word “klezmer” comes from the Hebrew language and means “playing instrument”. Klezmer music is associated with Jews who have lived in Eastern Europe since the 16th century, and since then, as well as today, it is performed at festivals, celebrations and weddings.

Ethno Fusion Fest 2019

As in previous years the festival is taking place in the beautiful garden courtyard of the Belgrade Synagogue right in the heart of the city center. Apart from ourselves, who continue running this festival with great enthusiasm, this year we bring a group of young musicians from 'Antara', a band very well-known and beloved in Israel, as well as the Turumtay-Zaric duo from Vienna. Theater enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the theater play 'Address unknown', which is also part of the festival.
