The famous musical Violinist on the Roof is back in Belgrade. Story about love, dramatic farewells and dramatic misunderstandings, that all take place in the whirlwind of a bad historical moment. With characters who, with their optimism, persist in their unwavering faith in the future. This funny and emotional story is presented to us by impressive cast of actors/singers and orchestra “Shira Utfila”.

The New Original Klezmer Ensemble
(Italy)
The instrumental-vocal ensemble consisting of five musicians was founded in 1993 by Davide Casali. They participated in all the important Klezmer music festivals in Italy, signed music for several films and released numerous albums.
The word “klezmer” comes from the Hebrew language and means “playing instrument”. Klezmer music is associated with Jews who have lived in Eastern Europe since the 16th century, and since then, as well as today, it is performed at festivals, celebrations and weddings.
